dear friends ... yes , you all guessed it right. if you are a movie fanatic , if you have a dream to make it to the bollywood , if you have in yourself - the future SHAHRUKHs, AMIRs, AISHWARYAs , KARAN JOHARs , YASH CHOPRAs etc etc ... then this is the right place for you to land up!!!!!!!!
come on now all the movie geeks ... this is the time NOT to sit back and enjoy a bollywood creation BUT to create your own MAGNUM OPUS .......TO SHOW THE WORLD THE TALENT YOU POSSESS IN THE ART OF MOVIE MAKING ... AND THAT YOU ARE NO LESS THAN ANY OF THE SILVER SCREEN GIANTS !!!!!!!!!!!!!
for the first time in jaipur , we have come up with this event , a unique one of its own kind ...
so without wasting any time lets get on to the rules straight away................
Introduction :-
Its going to be a team event where the teams would be required to make a movie on the themes mentioned.Hence the teams would be getting about a month's time to shoot their movie. The movie thus expected is to be of high quality with respect to direction, sound effects, dialogues music etc.
Requirements :-
As obvious, the teams would be required to shoot their movies and hence would require a camera.
Format :-
1) from the given themes ,teams have to choose any 1 and make a movie. For this they have a month's time. WE HAVE DECIDED TO ALSO ALLOW PARTICIPANTS TO USE THEIR OWN THEMES,IF THEY WANT, THUS ENCOURAGING EVEN MORE CREATIVITY ON THEIR PART.
2) The movie is to be of 7 min duration
3) Participants will be registered on the spot along with their CDs.
4) Movies would be played and shown on the projector and judged simultaneously.
5) The most creative and interesting movie shall be adjudged the winner
Rules and regulations :-
1) The movie should be strictly of 7 minutes duration.
2) Only the team members should be the actors in it.
3) It should be in Hindi/English only. Silent movies shall be disqualified.
4) It should be technically sound. Great direction, music, plot, climax, costumes, creativity will be the deciding factors in addition to acting ofcourse.
5) No. of team members should be more than 4 and should not exceed 8.
6) Participants should be prepared for questions from judges regarding any aspect of movie making.
7) Illicit language and adultery is strictly prohibited. Any movie having objectionable content shall be disqualified.
8) Boring movies should be avoided.
9) Movies would be accepted only in the form of CDs.
10) The organizers shall in no case be responsible for the failure of any CD. Hence bring only good quality branded CDs.
11) The organizers hold the right to disqualify any team on grounds of misconduct in the college premises.
